Our mission is to bring contemporary art to underserved communities.
We promote artistic dialog through making, discussing, and sharing work,
and by connecting artists to new communities and to one another.

||| is run by three artists:

Leah Gauthier was born in Chicago and currently lives and works in Bloomington, IN. She received an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tuft University, and her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally in museums, galleries and alternative spaces. Leah is an Assistant Professor of Art at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sara Jones grew up in Mobile, AL and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received an MFA and Museum Studies Certificate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University, and her BA from Connecticut College in New London. She has shown nationally and internationally, including in galleries and museums in New York, Boston, Brazil and Spain. Sara currently teaches drawing and painting at Pratt Institute and works on exhibitions and publications for the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture Archive at The Cooper Union (both in New York City).

Andrea Wenglowskyj was born in Rochester, NY and lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received her Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University, and her BFA in Photography from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her work has been exhibited in New York and Boston. She has worked with the UBS Art Collection, Storefront for Art & Architecture, and has recently returned from Ukraine on a Fulbright scholarship.
